This Teacher of English role is focused on delivering engaging and well‑structured English lessons across KS3 and KS4. It would suit someone who can bring maintaining a calm, positive and well‑managed classroom environment to the role.

Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.

Delivering engaging and well‑structured English lessons across KS3 and KS4. Preparing students effectively for GCSE English Language and Literature. Plan differentiated lessons to meet the needs of students with varying abilities.

What the role depends on
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification.
- Has an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or is willing to apply).
- Relevant teaching, instruction, or learner-support experience.

- Teaching Personnel are working closely with a secondary school in Skelmersdale to recruit a motivated and confident English Teacher to join the department from September 2026.
- In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
