What the role involves
- Create a positive, safe, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment that supports all learners.
- Promote andmaintainthe highest standards of behaviour within the classroom and across the school.
- Ensure all health, safety, and hygiene standards are rigorously upheld.
- Work collaboratively with the HFT team, including the HFT Technician, to ensure the effective delivery of the curriculum.
- Deliver engaging, inclusive lessons aligned withCfEexperiences and outcomes, QS supporting progression and pathways for all learners.
- Preparing and present learners for QS and other relevant qualifications, ensuringhigh standardsof attainment and achievement.
Skills and requirements
- Relevant teaching, classroom, childcare, QTS, SEN, safeguarding, or early-years experience may be required.
Confirmed role details
- Full Time hours would be considered for a newly qualified teacher or for a teacher about to start their probationary year.
- Part Time, Maternity Cover.

Candidate fit
- Registration with the General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCS).
- Experience of teaching Health and Food Technology in a secondary school setting.
- Strong knowledge ofCfEand QS qualifications, particularly National 5 Practical Cookery and Skills for Work: Hospitality and Barista.
