What the role involves

• Supporting lessons, learning activities, behaviour, assessment, or childcare routines according to the role.
• Work with teachers, children, learners, families, or colleagues to keep progress and safety on track.
• As Teacher of History, you will teach across KS3–KS5, delivering engaging, well-structured lessons that develop both historical knowledge and key disciplinary skills.
• Build deep substantive knowledge across a range of historical periods and themes.
• Develop disciplinary thinking, including causation, significance, change and continuity.

Skills and requirements

• Relevant teaching, classroom, childcare, QTS, SEN, safeguarding, or early-years experience may be required.

• Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
