What the role involves
- Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEND.
- Assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
- Supporting pupils with communication, emotional regulation, and social development.
- Adapt learning activities and resources to meet individual needs.
- Encourage independence, confidence, and positive behaviour.
- Provide feedback to staff.
Skills and requirements
- All applications are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, professional reference checks, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) in line with our stringent safeguarding policy.
- Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and all employment breaks must be explained.
- You must be willing to attend a registration interview.
- All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay.
Candidate fit
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or the willingness to obtain one.
- Experience working with children or young people with SEND.
- The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
