Teaching Assistant
Teaching Assistant focuses on providing in-class support to the teacher during lessons.
What the role involves
- Providing in-class support to the teacher during lessons.
- Supporting small groups with reading and other activities.
Skills and requirements
- Experience: Must have previous experience working within a primary school setting, preferably with KS1 pupils.
- DBS Check: A valid and current Enhanced DBS Certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
- EWC Registration: Must be registered (or eligible to register) with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
- Strong communication and organizational skills, and a proactive approach to supporting learning.
