Teaching Assistant
Teaching Assistant focuses on supporting students in class on a 1:1 basis or in small groups.
What the role involves
- Supporting students in class on a 1:1 basis or in small groups.
- Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom activities.
- Help manage classroom behaviour and keep students engaged.
- Supporting pupils with additional learning needs where required.
- Encourage confidence, participation, and progress.
- Follow safeguarding and school policies at all times.
Skills and requirements
- Relevant teaching, classroom, childcare, QTS, SEN, safeguarding, or early-years experience may be required.
Confirmed role details
- £93 – £110 per day (depending on experience).
- Full-time / Part-time | Long-term / Day-to-day.
- GSL Education is seeking proactive and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work in secondary schools across Boston.
- Work closely with teachers to support students across KS3 and KS4, helping to create a positive and engaging learning experience.
Candidate fit
- Experience working with young people (school experience desirable).
- A patient, supportive, and adaptable approach.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
