The Teaching Assistant position centres on supporting students in KS3 & KS4 who are finding their feet in a new environment. It would suit someone who can bring don’t flinch when chaos kicks off you’ve got calm on lock to the role.
Who the work supports
Work 1:1 or in tight-knit groups—whatever helps them settle. Help kids who communicate differently or need structure to feel seen and heard.
Learning support involved
Supporting students in KS3 & KS4 who are finding their feet in a new environment. Proper consultant support we’ve been in the classroom too. Supporting lessons, learning activities, behaviour, assessment, or childcare routines according to the role.

Education skills and requirements
- A DBS on the update service (or be up for getting one with us).
- All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and subscribe to the DBS Update Service.
- Relevant teaching, classroom, childcare, QTS, SEN, safeguarding, or early-years experience may be required.
Job details
- Start: ASAP | ⏰ Full Time 32.5 hrs per week average.
- Weekly PAYE pay no umbrella faff or mystery deductions like the cash machine that takes of a couple of quid when you get a tenner out!
- Roles where you’re part of the team, not just covering a shift.
- All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
