Practical details
- These positions start in September and involve working closely with individual children with special educational needs who require tailored support to thrive in their learning.
- Providing dedicated 1:1 SEN support to a child with additional needs such as Autism (ASD), ADHD, SEMH, speech and language difficulties or learning difficulties.
- Implementing behaviour management strategies and de-escalation techniques where needed.
- Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO and external professionals to follow EHCPs and individual support plans.
Education skills and requirements
- Relevant teaching, classroom, childcare, QTS, SEN, safeguarding, or early-years experience may be required.
