Teaching Assistant

This Teaching Assistant role is focused on supporting lessons, learning activities, behaviour, assessment, or childcare routines according to the role. It would suit someone who can bring warm, steady communication with children and families to the role.

As a Teaching Assistant you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of different schools and with children of different ages and abilitites. The needs of the children can vary, and in some cases the children may have complex learning difficulties.

Education skills and requirements

• You do not need any qualifications or experience but the drive and passion to make a difference to the lives of children.
• Of a teaching assistant can be a challenging one so patience, a friendly approach and a good sense of humour are required.
• Relevant teaching, classroom, childcare, QTS, SEN, safeguarding, or early-years experience may be required.

Practical information

• Passionate individuals who are wanting to build a career in working with children.
• Mostly be working alongside the class teacher to provide support to the children and in some cases on a 1:1 basis.
• Develop to the best of their abilities.
• We can offer full or Part Time and flexible days.
