As a Teaching Assistant, the work centres on the senior leadership team of this school are looking to appoint a dedicated and passionate teaching assistant to join their team of support staff from September 2026. It would suit someone who can bring warm, steady communication with children and families to the role.
How the role is set up
Our client school require a teaching assistant who is flexible with working across KS3 and KS4, across a variety of subjects and pupil ability. Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Where someone would start
The senior leadership team of this school are looking to appoint a dedicated and passionate teaching assistant to join their team of support staff from September 2026. Also work closely with the class teacher to prepare and plan lessons in line with the national curriculum and schemes of work. supporting learners and helping maintain a positive learning environment.
What is expected
- Registration required through Teaching Personnel prior to start.
- No prior school-based experience is necessary, although experience supporting children would be beneficial to your application.
- All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
Job details
- In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
- All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
- Full-time role, Monday – Friday.
- Competitive pay with no umbrella or agency fee.
