Teaching Assistant focuses on supporting classroom activities and play-based learning in eyfs.

What the role involves

• Supporting classroom activities and play-based learning in EYFS.
• Assisting with observations and assessment of pupil progress.
• Provide targeted support for pupils who require additional guidance.
• Encourage independence, confidence, and positive learning behaviours.
• Supporting children’s social, emotional, and communication development.
• Work collaboratively with teachers and EYFS staff.

Skills and requirements

• Relevant teaching, classroom, childcare, QTS, SEN, safeguarding, or early-years experience may be required.
