Teaching Assistant

Hays Education is recruiting experienced Supply Teaching Assistants to work on a temporary basis across a range of primary schools. This role is ideal for Teaching Assistants who are flexible, reliable, and confident supporting children across different classroom environments.Assignments can range from day-to-day supply to longer-term placements, depending on school needs and your availability.
Key Responsibilities

Supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2

Working with individuals or small groups under the direction of the class teacher

Assisting with classroom activities and lesson delivery

Supporting pupils with additional learning needs where required

Helping to maintain a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment

Requirements

Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in primary schools

A Teaching Assistant qualification is beneficial but not essential

Ability to adapt quickly to different school settings

Strongmunication and interpersonal skills

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
