Teaching Assistant focuses on provide 1:1 or small-group support for pupils with semh needs and/or autism.

What the role involves

• Provide 1:1 or small-group support for pupils with SEMH needs and/or Autism.
• Assisting teachers in planning and delivering activities that spark curiosity and progress.
• Leading small group sessions.
• Offer emotional, social, and practical support to pupils as they navigate school life.
• Supporting outdoor learning, enrichment activities, and personal development initiatives.
• Adaptable and proactive, able to support pupils in a variety of settings.

Skills and requirements

• Relevant teaching, classroom, childcare, QTS, SEN, safeguarding, or early-years experience may be required.
