Teaching Assistant focuses on provide 1:1 or small-group support for pupils with semh needs and/or autism.
What the role involves
- Provide 1:1 or small-group support for pupils with SEMH needs and/or Autism.
- Assisting teachers in planning and delivering activities that spark curiosity and progress.
- Leading small group sessions.
- Offer emotional, social, and practical support to pupils as they navigate school life.
- Supporting outdoor learning, enrichment activities, and personal development initiatives.
- Adaptable and proactive, able to support pupils in a variety of settings.
Skills and requirements
- Relevant teaching, classroom, childcare, QTS, SEN, safeguarding, or early-years experience may be required.
