What the role involves

• Prospero Teaching are looking for dynamic new tutors in the BCP area to support young people needing alternate provision.
• We provide tuition to students in early years all the way to post 16, supporting them from 2 to 15 hours per week.

Skills and requirements

• In order to be eligible, we require our tutors to have experience teaching or tutoring in the past.
• We also require all of our staff to have an enhanced DBS on the update service.

Confirmed role details

• This role is very flexible and works around the schedule of the young person and the tutor, so it is ideal for educators wanting Part Time or Full Time work.

Candidate fit

• Patience, clear communication, classroom awareness, and confidence supporting learners.

Additional role context

• This may be in the classroom as a teacher (with or without QTS) or supporting as a teaching assistant.
• Alternatively, you may have been a tutor for 6 months or more working 1:1 with students.
