Role overview

Work across our three mixed-age classes, supporting pupils in their learning and development both in small groups and on a 1:1 basis. Hemington Primary School is a small, welcoming village school that has proudly served the beautiful Leicestershire communities of Hemington and Lockington since 1878.

Requirements

• Candidates should hold a relevant Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent) and demonstrate the ability to adapt to the varying needs of both teache.
• A good command of the English language is essential, along with experience of working as a Teaching Assistant in partnership with a class teacher.
• At Hemington Primary School we are a community and all those directly connected, staff members, governors, parents, families and pupils, have an essential role to play in making it.

Job details

• This position is initially offered on a fixed-term basis for one year, with the possibility of a permanent contract for the right candidate.
