Teaching Assistant
Job description
This Teaching Assistant opportunity is built around working under our SENCo's direction, you'll support learners across all subjects and key stages, removing barriers to learning and celebrating progress. It would suit someone who can bring a positive, can-do attitude and genuine passion for supporting young people to the role.
Who the work supports
28 hours per week (5 days), term time only. Fixed term until 31 July 2026.

Working under our SENCo's direction, you'll support learners across all subjects and key stages, removing barriers to learning and celebrating progress. supporting learners and helping maintain a positive learning environment. Able to support learners with patience and structure.

A positive, can-do attitude and genuine passion for supporting young people. Strong teamwork skills, patience, and a good sense of humour.
What needs to be in place
- Experience with SEND students and KS3/KS4 curriculum is desirable but not essential – we value the right attitude and potential.
- Relevant teaching, instruction, or learner-support experience.
Job details
- Rednock School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment.
- £15,934 per annum (Grade 3 Point 4, pro rata).
- Each school role involves regular contact with students and therefore you will receive safeguarding training as part of your role.
