What the role involves

• This is a highly supportive work environment and you will have the full support of the wider team, an expert care team and exceptional senior leadership.
• Your role as a Teaching Assistant is to support the children with emotional regulation and gently encourage them to access their learning in a way which meets their needs.
• Also have responsibility for reporting any safeguarding concerns for and on behalf of your pupil and the wider school conmmunity as well as fostering a trusting and safe relationsh.

Skills and requirements

• Relevant teaching, classroom, childcare, QTS, SEN, safeguarding, or early-years experience may be required.

Confirmed role details

• Please be aware, this is a Full Time role where you are required to work Monday to Friday each week and due to the level of consistency needed for these children, we are unable to.
• The daily pay rate is £114.33.

Additional role context

• Due to expansion, an Independent School in Gainsborough require a Teaching Assistant to work one to one with children with adverse childhood experiences, and guide them on their jo.
• The school predominantly cater for children aged 7-16 who have social, emotional and mental health needs.
• This role requires a high level of resilience, patience and empathy for those who can show dysregulated behaviours and have trauma responses.
