• Supporting lessons, learning activities, behaviour, assessment, or childcare routines according to the role.
• Work with teachers, children, learners, families, or colleagues to keep progress and safety on track.

Skills and requirements

• This a very challenging yet rewarding role, you will be required to support learners in a group and individual basis working 1:1.
• Due to the nature of the setting, this is suitable for someone with experience of working with children with challenging behaviours, who is able to develop good relationships.
• Have recent experience in supporting children with special needs, or be willing to learn.
• Providing individual student and group mentoring sessions as required.

• As a Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting pupils aged 11 - 16 years with complex social, emotional and mental health needs.
• Ideally be based in Basingstoke or be willing to travel to Basingstoke to work.
