The Teaching Assistant position centres on supporting learners and helping maintain a positive learning environment. It would suit someone who can bring warm, steady communication with children and families to the role.
Where the work sits
Prospero Teaching are looking for Teaching Assistants to work in an SEN school. Our SEN school is seeking someone who has experience with Sen Needs/ Alternative Provisions and is comfortable working with children aged 7-16 years of age.
How the role works day to day
supporting learners and helping maintain a positive learning environment. Able to support learners with patience and structure. Provide two professional child related references.
Practical details
- Minimum rate of pay – Minimum rate around £100-£120 per day.
- Duration / Likely Duration – Ongoing booking until July.
- Full Time/Part Time – Full Time.
- Additional detail: Training or development support may be provided.
What needs to be in place
- TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:.
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
- GCSE English and Maths grade ‘C’.
