Teaching Assistant
Teaching Assistant focuses on delivering high‑quality lessons in line with the eyfs framework.
What the role involves
- Delivering high‑quality lessons in line with the EYFS Framework.
- Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
- Supporting and differentiate learning for pupils with SEN and additional needs.
- Promote positive behaviour, independence, and emotional development.
- Observe, assess, and track pupil progress using EYFS assessment methods.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – ECTs are encouraged to apply.
Skills and requirements
- Relevant teaching, classroom, childcare, QTS, SEN, safeguarding, or early-years experience may be required.
Candidate fit
- Patience, clear communication, classroom awareness, and confidence supporting learners.
Additional role context
- Start Date: May Hours: Full‑time, Monday–Friday (8:30am–3:30pm).
