Hackney, East London | KS3 & KS4 Support

A thriving and supportive secondary school in Hackney, East London, rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted, is seeking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their successful team from April 2026.

The school welcomes applications from both experienced Teaching Assistants and graduates looking to gain valuable school-based experience. The successful candidate will support students across KS3 and KS4, helping to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

Role Information

    Working Pattern: Full Time Only
    Pay: £90 – £120 per day
    Working Hours: 8:00am – 3:30/4:00pm

    Requirements

  • Previous experience working with young people or within a school setting is desirable
  • A positive, proactive, and adaptable approach
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for supporting students’ learning and development
  • Relevant qualifications or degree desirable but not essential
  • DBS on update service required
