What the role involves

  • Supporting the school covering the role of Form Teacher.
  • Preparing appropriate lesson plans adapted to the needs of the existing knowledge of pupils.
  • Provide appropriate teaching resources for the pupils where necessary, according to school policies and make these available to the school.
  • Help where necessary to collate the class’s work for the school magazine.
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining a stimulating learning environment for the children.

Skills and requirements

  • Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.

  • Proven experience working with children or young people in educational or intervention based settings.
