Teaching Assistant

Teaching Assistant focuses on assisting with the preparation and delivery of learning materials.

What the role involves

• Assisting with the preparation and delivery of learning materials.
• Provide one-to-one support to students, including those with special educational needs.
• Help maintain a positive classroom environment through effective behaviour management.
• Supporting teachers in monitoring student progress and providing feedback.
• Engage students in classroom activities and encourage learning.
• Supervise pupils during lunch, break times, and other non-classroom activities.

Skills and requirements

• Previous experience in education or childcare is preferred.
• Relevant qualification in education, childcare, or a similar field is advantageous.
• Passion for supporting children and young people.
• Commitment to safeguarding and student welfare.

Confirmed role details

• £13.00 – £15.00 per hour.
