What the role involves

  • Support lessons, learning activities, behaviour, assessment, or childcare routines according to the role.
  • Work with teachers, children, learners, families, or colleagues to keep progress and safety on track.

Skills and requirements

  • Experienced working with children with SEND (school-based experience preferred).
  • Relevant qualifications (CACHE, Level 2/3 Supporting Teaching & Learning etc.) are desirable but not essential if you have strong experience.
  • All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and subscribe to the DBS Update Service.

Confirmed role details

  • Supporting pupils in the ARP setting, both 1:1 and in small groups.
  • Help pupils access learning through tailored support and adapted resources.
  • Work closely with teachers, the SENDCO and wider support staff.
  • All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
