Teaching Assistant

This Teaching Assistant opportunity is built around assisting teaching staff in the preparation and delivery of lessons and educational activities. It would suit someone who can bring warm, steady communication with learners to the role.

Role overview

Relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in supporting teaching and learning is desirable but not essential. Candidate fitpatience, clear communication, classroom awareness, and confidence supporting learners.

Learning support involved

Assisting teaching staff in the preparation and delivery of lessons and educational activities. Provide individual or small group support to pupils to reinforce learning and encourage engagement. Help manage pupil behaviour in accordance with school policies to create a positive learning environment.

Education skills and requirements

• Minimum of GCSEs at grade C/4 or above in English and Mathematics or equivalent qualifications.
• Experience supporting pupils with special educational needs is highly desirable.
• All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay.

Job details

• Job Type: Temporary, Full-Time.
• Pay: £90 - £110 per day.
• Additional detail: Holiday allowance.
