Teaching Assistant

As a Teaching Assistant, the work centres on supporting teaching and learning across the classroom. It would suit someone who can bring warm, steady communication with children and families to the role.

Where the work sits

Learning support involved

Supporting teaching and learning across the classroom. Assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities. Provide targeted support for pupils with additional needs.

Practical details

• This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 3:30pm.
• £14.25 per hour.

Education skills and requirements

• Hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Have previous experience working within a primary school setting (essential).
• Have experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
