Teaching Assistant SEN
Job description
As a Teaching Assistant, the work centres on monitoring pupil progress and feedback to teachers and the SENCO. It would suit someone who can bring supportive and inclusive working environment to the role.
Role overview
The successful candidate will support pupils with Special Educational Needs, working either 1:1 or in small groups, depending on individual needs. Provide tailored academic and emotional support to pupils with SENSupport learning activities within the classroom and during interventions.
Main responsibilities
Monitoring pupil progress and feedback to teachers and the SENCO. Supporting pupils with personal care where required. Assisting with end-of-day close-down duties, including tidying, cleaning shared areas, and resetting the classroom for the following day.

Requirements
- Relevant SEN or childcare qualifications are desirable but not essential.
- Relevant teaching, instruction, or learner-support experience.
