Teaching Assistant – Flexible Opportunities

Vision for Education are seeking primary and nursery teaching assistants to support pupils across primary schools and nurseries in the Stafford area. If you have experience supporting children in the classroom and are passionate about helping learners thrive, we’d love to hear from you.

About the Role

As a primary/nursery teaching assistant, you will:

  • Work closely with the class teacher to support pupils across the primary/nursery curriculum
  • Provide one-to-one and small-group support to help children meet learning objectives
  • Promote engagement, independence, and positive behaviour within the classroom
  • Assist in preparing resources and adapting activities to support different learning needs
  • Help create an inclusive, encouraging, and safe learning environment for all pupils
  • This primary teaching assistant role offers flexibility, with day-to-day, short-term, and long-term opportunities across Stafford and surrounding areas.

  • Requirements

    To be considered for the role of primary/nursery teaching assistant, you will:

  • Have experience supporting children within a school or similar setting
  • Hold a relevant qualification or demonstrate practical classroom experience
  • Be confident in supporting behaviour and encouraging positive outcomes
  • Possess a DBS registered on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one)
  • Be patient, adaptable, and committed to helping all pupils succeed
  • Be able to provide references and a full 10-year work/education history
