Teaching Assistant

The Teaching Assistant position centres on developing confidence, and thrive within the school environment. It would suit someone who can bring we are seeking a proactive, friendly, and supportive Teaching Assistant to work closely with students with autism, helping them access learning to the role.

• Pay Rate will be dependent on your skills and experience.

• Develop confidence, and thrive within the school environment.
• Provide support both within the Autism Base and, where appropriate, in mainstream classroom settings, working alongside teachers and other support staff to meet students' individua.
• Supporting lessons, learning activities, behaviour, assessment, or childcare routines according to the role.

Requirements mentioned

• Previous school experience is not essential.
• You must be suitably qualified for the position advertised and be prepared to attend a face to face interview with Axcis to demonstrate your suitability for this role.
• Relevant teaching, classroom, childcare, QTS, SEN, safeguarding, or early-years experience may be required.
