Team Leader

Team Leader focuses on to lead a team of employment specialists on the wla connect to work programme, supporting disabled people and those with learning difficulties into employment.

What the role involves

• To lead a team of Employment Specialists on the WLA Connect to Work programme, supporting disabled people and those with learning difficulties into employment.
• The post holder will support the Service Manager in maximising service outcomes and work closely with the wider Connect to Work programme team.
• Be expected to regularly attend community locations to build relationships and undertake activities such as shadowing.

Skills and requirements

• Relevant leadership, project, operations, people-management, or stakeholder experience is useful.

Confirmed role details

• Will ensure consistent delivery of quality service standards within a designated area, meeting contract targets for referrals (starts on provision), engagement activity, employment.
• Expenses will therefore only be paid from the first work location.
