Technical Engineer focuses on leading the dno interface, managing submissions, clarifications, and approvals.

What the role involves

• Leading the DNO interface, managing submissions, clarifications, and approvals.
• Review and direct ICP deliverables such as SLDs, protection philosophies, earthing studies, and cabling.
• Overseeing contestable vs non‑contestable scope and energisation readiness.
• Strengthen HV QA/QC processes and technical governance.
• Act as an internal HV subject matter expert and mentor early‑career engineers.

Skills and requirements

• Strong HV engineering expertise (11–66kV) from an ICP or DNO background.
• Experience delivering grid connections and navigating DNO approvals.
• Proven ability to review and challenge HV/ICP design packages.
• Confidence leading technical discussions and driving high standards.
