Technical Sales Engineer
Technical Sales Engineer focuses on identify and pursue sales opportunities for pipework projects in fire protection (sprinkler tanks, suppression systems) and cooling towers.
What the role involves
- Identify and pursue sales opportunities for pipework projects in fire protection (sprinkler tanks, suppression systems) and cooling towers.
- Develop strong relationships with new and existing clients, consultants, and contractors.
- Interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, and specifications to prepare accurate technical proposals and quotations.
- Liaise with internal design and operations teams to provide tailored solutions that meet client requirements.
- Supporting site surveys, technical discussions, and pre-contract meetings.
- Maintaining a strong focus on compliance with LPCB, BS EN 12845, NFPA and HSE ACOP L8 standards.
Skills and requirements
- NVQ Level 3 or higher in Mechanical Engineering or Pipefitting.
- Legionella awareness training (advantageous).
- SSSTS and CSCS (preferred).
- Full UK driving licence.
Confirmed role details
- £45,000 per annum + Company Car + Benefits.
- Birmingham Based Hybrid working, UK-wide (with travel to client sites).
