As a Technician: Creative Technology, the work centres on opening in September 2023 this exciting new resource will sit at the heart of the University and will support technologies such as creative coding, VR / AR, physical computing, pro. It would suit someone who can bring handling site-by-site responsibilities with consistency and care to the role.
Role overview
Help shape the integration and embedding of technical learning and teaching into our academic programmes. At Norwich we champion transdisciplinary making and creating using traditional, digital and new emerging technologies.
Main responsibilities
Opening in September 2023 this exciting new resource will sit at the heart of the University and will support technologies such as creative coding, VR / AR, physical computing, pro. To support this we provide a range of high-quality workshops and technical resources where students can explore material and digital thinking to succeed in their creative ambitions. Work with students and academic staff across our academic portfolio, in particular those studying in our highly successful Computer Arts & Technology Programme.

Requirements
- Using your knowledge and experience, you will support student learning and help them to develop a broad range of increasingly essential technical skills.
- The lab will include cutting-edge equipment and enable our students to develop unique forms of human-computer interaction and develop a working knowledge of product development lif.
