The Technology & Design Technician 3 position centres on providing technical advice, support and assistance to teaching staff in developing and manufacturing teaching aids and models. It would suit someone who can bring warm, steady communication with learners to the role.

Where the work sits

Supervise appropriate staff including managing and allocating duties. Participate fully in all relevant INSET and disseminate information as appropriate.

How the role works day to day

Provide technical advice, support and assistance to teaching staff in developing and manufacturing teaching aids and models. Preparing resources for all classes including setting up, testing, demonstrating and dismantling suitable resources as per agreed schemes of work. Develop, maintain and operate manual and/or computerised systems in relation to administrative tasks associated with the area of work.
