What the role involves

  • Develop, and produce highly specialised components, which are tested using both manual and semi-automated methods.
  • Reporting measured data to internal teams, customers, and partners.
  • Develop new test jigs and fixtures.

Skills and requirements

  • Proven discipline or a degree qualification (Physics, electrical/electronic engineering) or equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity with microwave and/or optical measurements.
  • Experience in a test and measurement engineering role (preferred).
  • Understanding of statistical techniques for data analysis and reporting, as well as software-driven systems.

Candidate fit

  • Over the past five years, they have grown into a recognised global leader in optical satellite communication and high-speed test and measurement devices.
  • Establish procedures for calibration and maintenance to ensure reliable, accurate, and repeatable measurements.

Additional role context

  • They work closely with leading development companies and manufacturing partners across Europe to design.
  • Conduct advanced testing and evaluation of some of the fastest optical modulator devices globally.
  • Define and document test plans, instructions, and procedures to meet product and customer requirements.
