What the role involves

  • Assisting in the preparation and smooth running of theatre and clinical areas.
  • Supporting the theatre team during Urology procedures, ensuring high standards of patient care and safety.
  • Preparing equipment, instruments, and consumables for procedures.
  • Record patient observations accurately where required.

Skills and requirements

  • Currently practising, or has practised, as a Theatre HCA within a surgical setting for a minimum of 6 months within the last 12 months.
  • Proven experience working in the NHS.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary theatre team.
