- Maintain our cooling systems within our customers data centre facilities.
- Vertiv are seeking skilled Cooling Engineers within the Southeast region of England to oversee.
- Maintaining cooling systems tailored for data centre environments, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on cooling equipment to minimise downtime and extend lifespan.
- Repair complex mechanical issues related to air conditioning units, chillers, pumps, and associated infrastructure.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and system diagrams to facilitate accurate repairs and modifications.
Skills and requirements
- Specifically requires a strong sense of ownership in approaching assigned tasks, essential in this critical infrastructure environment.
- NVQ Level 2 or higher in Refrigeration and Air conditioning, or similar relevant qualification.
- Proven experience in mechanical cooling engineering with a focus on air conditioning and/or data centre cooling solutions.
- Strong knowledge of schematics, technical drawings, and system layouts related to cooling infrastructure.
