Third In Charge focuses on supporting the manager and deputy in leading the nursery.

What the role involves

• Supporting the Manager and Deputy in leading the nursery.
• Overseeing daily operations.
• Leading and mentor nursery practitioners.
• Maintaining compliance with Ofsted requirements.
• Supporting staff training and development.
• Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead when required.

Skills and requirements

• Level 3 or above in Early Years/Childcare (UK recognised).
• Proven experience in a senior practitioner or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of EYFS framework and safeguarding.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Confirmed role details

• Permanent, Full-Time (Part-Time Potentially Considered).
• 40 hours per week.
• Up to £34,000 per year (depending on experience and qualifications).

• Play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the nursery while maintaining high standards of care and education.
