Requirements
- HNC in Engineering or significant hands‑on experience (10+ years) in jig and tool design/engineering.
- Experience with additive manufacturing / 3D printing.
- Solid tooling experience within a manufacturing or production environment (automotive or other regulated industries considered).
Job details
- Act as technical project lead, managing supplier interfaces and supporting supplier selection and performance.
- Lead the creation, development and modification of jigs and tooling assets, from initial request through to final acceptance and handover.
- Ensure tooling solutions meet Health & Safety, Ergonomics, Environmental, Security and Export Control requirements.
- Oversee tooling design datasets, validation and manufacturing acceptance.
