Requirements

• HNC in Engineering or significant hands‑on experience (10+ years) in jig and tool design/engineering.
• Experience with additive manufacturing / 3D printing.
• Solid tooling experience within a manufacturing or production environment (automotive or other regulated industries considered).

Job details

• Act as technical project lead, managing supplier interfaces and supporting supplier selection and performance.
• Lead the creation, development and modification of jigs and tooling assets, from initial request through to final acceptance and handover.
• Ensure tooling solutions meet Health & Safety, Ergonomics, Environmental, Security and Export Control requirements.
• Oversee tooling design datasets, validation and manufacturing acceptance.
