Trade Planning Senior Analyst (9-12 month Parental Leave Cover Contract)

Trade Planning Senior Analyst focuses on supporting the delivery of key strategic projects across the product and channel teams e.g.

What the role involves

• Supporting the delivery of key strategic projects across the product and channel teams e.g.
• Price Index development, Promotional Optimisation, and delivery of the Trade Plan.
• Identifying and solving complex and deep issues within the data to provide accurate analysis.
• Supporting the end-to-end process from planning and forecasting through to performance review and insight.
• Develop the right solutions for our customers and our business.
• Collaborating with teams across the wider business, including Category, Insight, and Channel specialists, to identify opportunities.

Skills and requirements

• Substantial experience with handling large data volumes with modern data processing tools, especially SQL (Teradata and Hadoop).
• Python, VBA, and other data visualisation tool experience.
• Bachelors degree or equivalent in Mathematics, Economics, Applied Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering or related field.

• 26 weeks maternity and adoption leave (after 1 years service) at full pay, followed by 13 weeks of Statutory Maternity Pay or Statutory Adoption Pay, we also offer 6 weeks fully pa.
