Traffic Engineer

Traffic Engineer focuses on supporting and execute the traffic order making process from preparation to implementation.

What the role involves

• Supporting and execute the Traffic Order Making process from preparation to implementation.
• Preparing Traffic Management Orders (TMOs), Traffic Regulation Orders (TROs), and related statutory documentation.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and council policies.
• Assisting in the development and implementation of traffic and highway schemes.
• Monitoring project progress to ensure timely delivery.
• Provide technical support to senior engineers and project managers.

Skills and requirements

• Qualification in Transportation Planning, Civil Engineering, Highway Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in traffic engineering, highway engineering, or a similar environment.
• Experience in a local authority, consultancy, or urban highways environment.
• Experience in preparing technical reports and project documentation.

• Rate: £28.11 per hour (Umbrella).
• Temporary (Length to be Confirmed).
