Job description
As a Trainee Commercial Gas Engineer, the work centres on maintaining accurate service records using internal systems. It would suit someone who can bring carry out safe plumbing and gas-related work with reliable site-by-site hands-on technical completion to the role.

My client are a commercial heating company who have been in operation for 25 years, providing mechanical engineering solutions to their customer portfolio. Domestic Gas Engineer / Trainee Commercial Engineer £44/46k – South London/Surrey.
What you would be doing
Maintaining accurate service records using internal systems. Troubleshoot and diagnose faults in various heating systems. Install and replace HVAC appliances, including pipework and plumbing as part of small works projects.
The working style that fits
Carry out safe plumbing and gas-related work with reliable site-by-site hands-on technical completion.
What you need
- Experience with both commercial and domestic heating systems, including installation and maintenance of HVAC equipment.
- Domestic Gas Safe certification is essential (commercial appliances when fully trained / qualified).
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel.
