Trainee Hydraulic Test Engineer

Trainee Hydraulic Test Engineer focuses on complete the strip, inspection and fault diagnosis of hydraulic and mechanical fluid power systems, supporting the hydraulic test engineer.

What the role involves

• Complete the strip, inspection and fault diagnosis of hydraulic and mechanical fluid power systems, supporting the Hydraulic Test Engineer.
• Monitoring stock levels for hydraulic fluid and consumables.
• To complete daily/weekly maintenance checks of test rigs.
• Maintaining and improve housekeeping in all areas of the Test Bay.
• Supporting with continually improving safety by addressing both physical safety issues and safety attitudes within the fluid power section.
• Document all training both internal and external.

Skills and requirements

• Engineering Qualification.
• Experience in an engineering environment.
