Job description

As a Teaching Assistant, the work centres on supporting learners and helping maintain a positive learning environment. It would suit someone who can bring warm, steady communication with children and families to the role.

Why this role may suit you

Assist the class teacher with recording and reporting on pupil progress and behaviour and help ensure that children are making good progress in the classroom. Working alongside our client schools, we will provide the successful Trainee Teaching Assistant with high quality training and paid on the job experience.

What you would be doing

supporting learners and helping maintain a positive learning environment. Able to support learners with patience and structure.

What you need

  • Have personal experience working with children but doesn’t have to be school based: experience with children, young people and adults with SEND would be ideal.
  • Be committed to completing the required training and participating in ongoing CPD.
  • Be willing to pay for an enhanced DBS check and register with the Update Service.
