Trainee Youth Worker
Trainee Youth Worker focuses on in this role you will be part of a team to support the young person’s throughout the day with basic tasks as supporting with meal preparation, cleaning, education and shopping.
What the role involves
- In this role you will be part of a team to support the young person’s throughout the day with basic tasks as supporting with meal preparation, cleaning, education and shopping.
- Build strong professional relationships with the service users and other members of staff.
- Clean and enjoyable environment for service users s to live and for you to work.
- Attend and take an active part in meetings as appropriate.
- Supporting service users in managing their own behaviour using approved skills.
- To promote equality, acknowledging individuals differences.
Skills and requirements
- Complete an enhanced DBS with Fulbridge Social Care and successfully complete one of our induction programmes prior to any placements being offered.
Confirmed role details
- Awareness of the general health, safety and welfare of service users.
- 8am – 11pm + sleep.
Candidate fit
- Ability to communicate clearly and easily with service users in a variety of ways.
- Ability to go wherever service users want to go and participate in all activities.
