Training and Development Coach focuses on gcses at grade a*-c (new grades 4-9) in english and maths, or equivalent level 2 qualifications.

Skills and requirements

• GCSEs at grade A*-C (new grades 4-9) in English and maths, or equivalent Level 2 qualifications.
• Teaching qualification at Level 3 (i.e., AET/PTLLS) or higher.
• Experience of delivering Functional Skills in maths and English up to Level 2.

Confirmed role details

• Full Time or Part-time, Permanent.
• 37.5 hours/week.
• Support, and mentor individuals to achieve their occupational standard and get to gateway in a timely manner.
• Implement the delivery plan, maintaining a high standard of teaching.

Additional role context

• Liaising with the line-manager and others in the employing organisation to support the implementation of knowledge in the workplace and development of skills and behaviours.
• Identify apprentices at risk of not progressing and/or achieving and work with the employer and colleagues to implement remedial actions.
• Use knowledge of the subject matter to support the Head of Business Development in creating sales-driven marketing packages.
