What the role involves

  • Dispatch: Manage multiple vehicle movements on a daily basis.
  • Develop and optimise transportation routes to minimise travel time to provide the best customer experience as well as organising our drivers in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Driver Management: Oversee the HR aspects of drivers, including attendance, performance, and general welfare.
  • Debriefs: Conduct driver debriefs to review daily operations, address issues, and promote continuous improvement.
  • Communication: Communicating with drivers, tracking vehicle locations, and managing driver hours compliance.
  • Compliance: Ensuring all vehicles and drivers adhere to UK transport regulations and company safety standards.

Skills and requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in transport administration, planning, or logistics role.
