What the role involves

• Ensure routes leave the depot on time and following up on late or no show vehicles.
• Managing drivers’ hours in line with working time directive rules.
• Managing driver rosters, input payroll, agency payroll and book holidays.
• Liaise with agencies to cover driver/driver assistant shortfall.
• Complete investigations and disciplinaries to the agreed process.

Skills and requirements

• An understanding of Transport environment and LGV vehicles.
• Previous experience of working in a fast-moving logistics environment.
• Class 2 LGV Licence. (Desirable).
• We operate over 190 cash and carry branches, eight distribution centres, five Best Food Logistics sites, as well as six support centre locations across the UK.

• Or 3 years if you join the pension scheme.
