Transport First Line Manager focuses on take leadership responsibility for managing a safe and efficient transport environment.

What the role involves

• Take leadership responsibility for managing a safe and efficient transport environment.
• To maximise the performance of drivers and supervisors by directing the nightly, weekly and monthly activities.
• Implement actions as directed to reduce or eliminate health and safety related risks.
• Leverage Behavioral Based Safety (BBS) program as a daily way to confirm behaviors and processes.
• Reporting and investigate incidents within the work place and respond to or escalate issues of non compliance to safety regulations and procedures.
• Supervise the adherence of up to date processes, work instructions, standard operating procedures and associated forms to achieve prescribed outputs.

Skills and requirements

• Relevant licence, warehouse, driving, stock, or operations experience may be required.
