Transport Planner

Transport Planner focuses on subcontracting and planning orders out of multiple warehouse facilities and manufacturing sites across the uk.

What the role involves

• Subcontracting and planning orders out of multiple warehouse facilities and manufacturing sites across the UK.
• Complete compliance administration to support Transport Manager’s daily.
• Planning daily workload for a fleet: vehicles based on and off site.
• Dealing with queries and issues by telephone, fax and email from our customers, sub-contract hauliers and warehousing sites.
• Liaising with Traffic and Administration teams to ensure the highest standards of performance are maintained at all times.
• Supporting the fleet and driver training team as and when required.

Confirmed role details

• £29,090 - £32,404 per annum, depending on experience.
• As Transport Planner you will oversee the day to day planning of the transport operation.
• Provide cost effective solutions to the customer.
